Training your dog to site seems like a daunting task. It's actually quite simple to teach your dog how to sit on command. It you follow this simple guide on how to make your dog sit, your dog will be sitting in no time!

All you will need to train your dog how to sit is a dog, and some of his or her favorite doggie treats. To begin, get your dog in a standing position. With a commandful voice, say sit and put the treat in front of your dogs face and move it towards their bottom and they should follow the treat with their nose forcing them to sit. The trick to teaching your dogs tricks is classical condition. When your dog sits, confirm their good behavior by giving them a little piece of the dog treat. This shows them what they did was good and soon will condition them to know when you say sit, and they sit, they will get a treat.
